Rotterdam

Two weeks into my study exchange in Madrid, I applied for a short-term internship with AIESEC international to design materials for an upcoming conference. The next thing I knew I was flying from Madrid to Rotterdam. I loved the architecture, the amazing cafes, the friendly people and the overall lifestyle. When I got there, I was taught to watch out for bikers, that everyone here lives a super healthy lifestyle, that it rains a lot and that it was pretty much hipster central. During my brief stay, I definitely noticed all of these things but more importantly I was amazed at how you could actually feel Rotterdam developing as a city. The changes seemed vividly tangible including the diversity and culture influencing its personality. I can’t wait to see how the city grows and to visit again sometime.
